Pumping Along ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- What you send us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write. Please do not send medical records or sensitive health details through the site.
- Basic, privacy-first analytics. We use a cookieless analytics tool to understand which pages are useful. It does not track you across other websites and does not build an advertising profile of you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not add you to a mailing list without your clear agreement.
How we use your information
We use what you send only to respond to you and to provide the education and workshops you ask about. If we ever want to email you updates, we will ask you first.
Service providers we rely on
We keep our tools minimal and use reputable providers to run the website and handle your message:
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website, provides security, and runs a spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on the contact form. Turnstile is designed to respect privacy and does not track you across other websites.
- Resend delivers the email from our contact form to our inbox. When you submit the form, the details you enter pass through Resend so the message can reach us.
- Purelymail hosts our email inbox, where your message arrives and where we reply from.
These providers process your information only to provide their service to us. We do not use them to advertise to you.
Children
Our workshops support families, including parents of children with diabetes, but this website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please do not submit a child's personal or health information through the site. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
How we protect and keep information
We keep your messages only as long as needed to help you, and we take reasonable steps to protect them. Our website is served over a secure connection.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@pumpingalong.org and we will help.
